Our client, one of the UK’s largest dealers within materials handling machinery, fork lift trucks, and related off-highway equipment, have an exciting new opportunity to recruit an Area Sales Manager to join their team in the South-East, Slough, Maidenhead, Camberley, Basingstoke, Reading, High Wycombe, and the surrounding region.

Working from home, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for:
• Day-to-day responsibility for all direct customers within the region
• Operating at the highest professional and ethical standards
• Maximisation of revenue streams from new equipment sales
• Servicing key accounts as agreed by Key/National Account Managers
• Winning new business and maximising revenue streams from new accounts
• Maintaining a strong knowledge of all of the company’s products and services

The successful Area Sales Manager will display:
• A strong track record within a field sales environment, preferably selling a relevant capital equipment such as materials handling equipment or heavy plant equipment
• Excellent communications skills across all levels
• A strong “customer focus” with appositive and pro-active attitude
• The ability to work independently and under own initiative within a target-focused environment
• Strong time-management skills
• Willingness to develop and expand current portfolio of skills
• Full valid driver’s license

The successful Area Sales Executive will command:
• Base Salary of up to £40,000pa
• Healthy incentive scheme with OTE of £45,000pa to £55,000pa
• Fully financed company vehicle
• Opt-in company pension
• Company laptop, mobile phone etc.
